Senator Schmitt Joins Education Roundtable During National School Choice Week

WASHINGTON – Today, Senator Eric Schmitt sat down to listen and learn with parents and parental rights advocates on how best to empower parents when it comes to their child’s education:  

“Empowering parents is essential to ensuring children get the best possible education, and eventually a purposeful and rewarding career. We cannot allow the level of learning loss that we saw during COVID come to pass again, and we need to vocally oppose any further mass virtual schooling, lockdowns, or other hindrances to our children’s education. It was great to listen and learn from parents about what’s most important to them, and I pledge to continue to fight for parents’ ability to do what’s best for their own children here in the Senate,” said Senator Eric Schmitt.
