Senator Schmitt Releases Statement on Inauguration of President Trump, Vice President Vance

WASHINGTON – Today, Senator Schmitt released the following statement after President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance were sworn into office:

“Today’s inauguration was historic, and represents the greatest comeback in political history. As President Trump said in his speech, the ‘golden age of America begins now.’ Americans have suffered through four years of high prices, embarrassment on the world stage, a porous Southern border, and corruption in the highest levels of our government. President Trump is going to usher in prosperity, take care of working families, unleash domestic energy production, secure our Southern border, and fight for the American people. I’m ready to fight right alongside him.”
